I spent over half an hour chaining Cleffa and stomping them with my Mudsdale before I began to think of the carnage that must be scattered around me.
Side note: I know you can just evolve a Cleffa but I was so stubborn over this that I kept it up until I got what I wanted how I wanted it.

Technically all you have to do is use false swipe (i like to use garchomp for sand and weavile for snow, Mega Absol is best multipurpose due to magic bounce) on the first one and sluaghter its compatriots until you hit 30. Then when the next one comes take out the original, wait for a 32nd (guarentees no discrepancies) new one and catch that new one. The funny thing is, you need to eliminate 31 to CATCH (including the original) one with 4 ivs of… 31!

When hunting down ‘mons with intimidate/status spam such as bagon I either use Mega Absol (I think intimidate is reflected) or Decidueye for haze/ FS

Why would you waste a move slot with a Mega Absol?

I like how Mudsdale is looking really aggravated, surrounded by mountains of the dea-er… I mean, fainted Cleffas. Yes. Fainted. Because that’s what happens to tiny, pink, fluffy beings who get their entire body crushed underneath a hoof.

Also no game but maybe monster hunter has requested a holocaust-esque level of grinding and slaughtering until now. It is almost terrifying to see all of your compatriots be murdered, get singled out, and then have the one who did it try to be your friend.

It took me SO long to capture a Cleffa because you can only capture when one alone is on the field and they WOULDN’T STOP CALLING FOR HELP…
In the end it took me a chain of over 30 to catch one… so the one I finally got had 4 maxed attribute genes.
