April Update

Edit: The hiatus is now over, so please keep going to continue with updates. I'm really sorry this post didn't go up on Monday! I had to make an emergency transfer of hosts for the site on the first, so it was impossible to post an update until the migration was complete. The move should be done now, so I hope everything came over okay. I apologize for any lost comments, and if you see anything that's really borked please let me know so I can look into it! It has officially been 3 months now, so I wanted to give an update on things! The hiatus has been a wonderful and amazing break, and I thank you all profusely for your patience and kind words during it. I know you were all hoping to see updates resume, but I'm afraid I'm not quite ready to return to comic updates and have decided to extend the hiatus a little. But I've also decided to begin work on the second printed volume now that the first one's Kickstarter is finished, so I won't be idle. I'm also going to be working on a buffer and figuring out some back-end things that need to change in order to keep the comic physically sustainable for me. I don't talk about it a lot, but I have a degenerative disease that makes long work hours progressively painful, and has been one of the cruxes of my problems. But I'm doing my best to figure out how to work around it. I'm going to give myself another 2 months and can hopefully return to a regular schedule after that. So, the current plan is for updates to resume Monday June 4th! In the mean time, if you have any questions or suggestions for extras you'd like to see in Volume 2, please drop a comment! Thank you again for all of your kind words, I can't tell you how much it means to me! Having such supportive readers made a difficult time much easier to handle.

Third, being the parents of two children that suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, so we can surely relate to the difficulties that can come with disabilities.     Hello! Since you have some extra time, I really think that you should play some strategical games, like Sid Meier’s Civilization, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron etc. They are great games and I’m sure you’ll love them. Maybe you can even make a new character that plays strategies.

        What exactly does your “whaaa” means? You don’t know the games? Then, read about them or buy them on Steam. The games don’t require speed of reaction or “shooting” skills, you just need your mind, so, you can play them even if you are ill. Besides, did you ever imagined yourself being a king? Ruling hudge country, leading millions of lifes, developing and evolving? That’s just what this games allow you. New character? Okay, maybe too much to ask. Still, I think you should try playing strategies too. You may be misundersandig them at first, but later you’ll pull in and start loving them

    First off I want to say this is one of my favorite webcomics of all time and I’m looking forward to it’s return. I also hope that you’ve had a good rest over your break.

    As for suggestions for volume 2 extras, I would like to see stories focused on the characters, like who owns Pixel and Sweet, what are their origins, what’s their life like when not hanging out with Gamer and Glitch, and so forth.
